2023 was our first time breeding AI and Metallic Spark has set the standards high. Our breeding manager has made comments that the semen was some of the highest quality frozen thawed she’s seen. With all mares bred on first try with him, we will continue to use Metallic Spark with complimentary mares. Karl Lanka has been a great mentor and has given us great advice. When we were stallion shopping we knew that we needed a stud that could freeze and thaw with similar results.
The way Karl manages his stallion also set the standards high on how we manage our own stallion services. Karl does a fantastic time talking to clients and chatting about what he has learned.
We had two wicked colts this year. One we sold a few days after he was born and another that we decided to keep.
